Allen received his B.S. in electrical engineering through Brigham Young University - Idaho. He currently holds an engineer in training license as of April 2018.
He is proficient in lighting models and specifies power systems according to IECC Energy Code and National Electrical Code standards for, K-12 educational facilities, higher education institutions, sporting venues, residential, commercial, hospitality and energy efficient lighting retrofit projects.
He participates in multi-discipline collaboration meetings for successful project outcomes.
He is proficient in the operation of AutoCAD, Revit and its interface with electronic media, photometric modeling software, voltage drop software, and fault current modeling software.
